The NQAD (Nano Quantity Analytical Detector) is an ultra-sensitive and universal HPLC detector made by Quant Technologies that detects all kinds of compounds, even those troublesome non UV-absorbing ions and carbohydrates, at levels as low as 0.5ng. The NQAD combines the solvent evaporation process of traditional evaporative light scattering detectors(ELSD's), with a well established (~20yrs) particle-counting sensitivity enhancement technology called condensation nucleation. The result is a robust, highly sensitive universal detector with excellent linearity of response (i.e. wide dynamic range). The NQAD is designed for use with modern UHPLC, HPLC & SFC instruments. Options include built-in fraction collection & solvent recycling. All units have a tiny footprint, and an active pump to conveniently transport the condensed eluant stream into your waste reservoir.
